The hatred was reciprocated by the Samaritans too, mainly because of the way the Jews treated them.
In fact, most of us would be able to relate to it, especially when recall the instances where we did, or perhaps still do, neglect the need of others, so as to avoid the unnecessary burden of responsibility.
